It wasn’t difficult to discover why Chris and Rebecca chose Longfords Estate Wedding Venue which overlooks the stunning Lake Okareka, just 15 mins out of Rotorua New Zealand. When they got in touch with me about their wedding photography they explained how they just love the outdoor’s and the stunning countryside and the back drop of Lake Okareka. Everyone got ready together taking advantage of the lakeside holiday homes 2 mins drive away from Longfords – just stunning! They had their first look on the back lawn right by the lake. While Chris was blown away by his stunning bride in her Madison Rose Wedding Dress, Rebecca just did Rebecca and giggled and laughed.
We had those on/off off/on decisions with the weather but at the last minute (as often happens) an outside ceremony it was! Their fur-baby Cooper was at Chris’s side to watch Rebecca come down the aisle. After their heartfelt wedding ceremony, family photos on the front lawn, lovely mingling time the good old rain returned falling softly. Wedding photography at Longfords Estate is so easy with so many photo locations. We had time to go a good old Champagne spray, slurp some bubbles, and have some fun. Honestly, it was just a giggle a minute with these dudes. Nothing taken seriously, my kind of people.
