Okay. This couple just make me smile and my heart melt when I think of them. Rachel and I first chatted on the phone and she seemed so chill about her day. I wondered if she could be real 😉
But real as real gets baby!
She didn’t want a whole lot of pre-bridal coverage and just wanted the day to be all about marrying Nick with family present all the while wee George just did chill dude George.
My kind of day.
Yes plans went from outside ceremony/inside/outside/inside. But Rachel was happy to just go with the flow and soft rain made the decision so Longfords Estate had it all sorted so down to the Marquee it was. A happy and relaxed ceremony officiated by Helene (nice job Helene).
What I also loved about this crew was their no drama attitude to walk out over the fields with the stunning Lake Okareka views and we had a wee picnic with soft rain falling. No drama. As the rain got heavier we took off to the stunning driveway which guests enter into Longfords Estate. I think I was the only one getting wet as it’s surprising how much shelter those trees provide!
This is the kind of wedding party and wedding photos I love. Natural interactions with a fun crew! A stunning country wedding venue that borders stunning Lake Okareka and an easy drive from Rotorua.
