SUCH a happy day for Andrew and Lynn. Andrew got in touch; their wedding was all about family and friends coming together to celebrate their special day. They were getting married in the front yard of their Omokoroa home overlooking the stunning views over Tauranga. We were to begin earlier with all the kids to get some relaxed family photos before the wedding ceremony. What Lynn didn’t realise was Andrew had Adventure Helicopters land close by and what Lynn thought to be a wee run for some wedding photos actually turned into a surprise heli ride over to Matakana Island!
All Lynn’s dreams came true as she would have loved wedding photos on the beach but wanted to keep things simple on the day. Shes married the right bloke because Andrew had it all sorted. Check out her face as she climbs the hill to see the helicopter waiting for them! We were treated to fabulous views over the Bay of Plenty and upon landing on the ocean side of Matakana island, we had the whole coastline to ourselves! They got to break open a bottle of bubbles, have a stroll along this beautiful secluded island coastline. Brilliant, well done Andrew!
After a lovely time we were whisked back in the heli, where I got to ride shotgun in the back of their vintage car (talk about spoilt) to waiting guests all ready for a twilight ceremony in front of the pool. Brilliant fun day for this very fun couple and their fabulous kids!
