When love couldn’t wait, an intimate elopement wedding at Eagle Ridge, Tauranga

Oh boy where do I begin with this story! Lydia and Jonny got in touch a year or so earlier planning their wedding. They had many oversea’s guests attending their wedding up at www.eagleridge.co.nz a stunning venue high up in the hills here in Tauranga, New Zealand. They’d carefully chosen their date to be exactly four years to the day they had met. (Honestly these guys know romance). Anyway you guessed it, with all that was going on around the globe their overseas guests couldn’t make it and they had to completely change their plans. Did they cancel? Nope. Did they postpone? Nope. Did they marry on their chosen day? YEAH BABY THEY DID!

They had their immediate families attend and it was magical. It was everything and more that an intimate wedding can be. From the emotional walk down the aisle I can tell you there was NOT a dry eye including my own. It was a close call even for Will their celebrant who was so determined to hold it together! There was something so touching, so heartfelt as we witnessed Lydia all on her own walk towards Jonny. So graceful but full of joy – probably the most touching moment I’ve ever witnessed and I’ve witnessed a lot of weddings!
