Keeping your photo session real

If you ask me to be your photographer, whether it be for a family portrait session, an in home lifestyle session, an engagement shoot or a couples session … it’ll be real, it’ll be fun and authentic, reflecting who you are with your loved ones.

Hate posing? So do I! Although if it’s a Classic image your wanting to frame we can make that happen but I bet your favorite will be the ones when you were your having a giggle with those whom you love. I do know a few tricks to make the best from your great features and downplay those we’re not that buzzed about 😉

As you scroll down the page of recent work you’ll see I love to capture families/couples being themselves in an environment they’re most comfortable in.   We’ll have some fun, there’ll be belly laughs and we’ll all possibly get a wee bit wet because I always seem to be surrounded by water.  Or if the farm is your happy place I know I’ll come back to my home smelling real good. Yes, there’ll be some shots of you looking at the camera (if you wish) but my favorite people enjoy realism and this is also how I  like to approach our session.   I’ll listen to who you are as a couple or a family and bring in what YOU want and make some suggestions if you’re keen. The families and couples I’ve photograph now have beautiful collages on their walls or books on their coffee tables of them just being them.  A special time captured forever to look back on.  If this sounds like you please get in touch and we can arrange a photo session.

In my busy months I can’t book weekend’s so please do factor this in when making bookings – If you mention your’e happy this when making an enquiry you’ll get a really friendly quote as a reward for reading this far! If however weekends are the only time you can all get together maybe we can work something out for a Friday evening – if not keep in mind my prices reflect my experience, my knowledge of how to get the best from you and your loved ones, how I will ALWAYS suggest the best lighting conditions to flatter you all and that good old local knowledge as to what/when/how works best. I want your images to reflect the best of times! – Rochelle
