Autumn colours, beautiful light and an unforgettable Aurora at Black Walnut

A sneak peek into Renee and Tyrones wedding photography at the beautiful Black Walnut Wedding Venue here in Tauranga. Black Walnut is has become an absolute favourite for couples looking to get married and one of the reasons is the variety of ceremony locations to choose from. They have a stunning garden area of woodlands; an Indoor Glass House; the Tree Church surrounded by a bamboo garden – just so many choices for all weather and seasons.

Tyrone and Renee’s Autumn wedding day was an absolute stunner and another reminder why I love Autumn weddings. Renee’s black and white theme emphasized the beauty of Black Walnut surroundings with their luscious greens and stunning autumn colours – not to mention the light!

Oh and speaking of LIGHT this day happened to coincide with one of New Zealand most visible Aurora’s! When we realized how strong it was appearing we went on an Aurora chase! Up into the hills and back country roads till we found a spot (weirdly enough in the middle of a country road) as we were looking for a dark area.

As you can see from the results we succeeded and this couple I feel are just SO very fortunate to have this occur on their wedding day! An absolutely BEAUTY of a wedding day.
